About

The artist Massimo Cedrini was born in Novafeltria (RN), a little town in Rimini, on 24th August 1956. Passionate of nature as a child and painting from the age of seven, he moved with his family to Turin where in 1974 he graduated from the Municipal Institute of Art as Professional qualification Designer Advertising.

The love of nature and of life, through the study of nature, photography and the female world, led him to acquire a personal and recognizable style, which can often be seen in the placement of female figures, animals and marine landscapes. Massimo Cedrini captures everything that affects his mood and transfers this to canvas, where his love of life materialises. His painting comes to life through the use of diverse techniques and natural materials from the sea such as sand and shells.

Massimo Cedrini has displayed work in numerous solo exhibitions in several Italian cities, amongst which was at Byblos Riccione in 2005, a well-known restaurant which very often showcases an unusual mix of unknown and very talented artists.

Although a great passion, painting unfortunately remained just a hobby until 2010, when some works were rediscovered and published by critics in the “Encyclopedic Dictionary of International Modern and Contemporary Art”, and in 2011 another publication, “The Great Contemporary Italian masters”, Saint Sarah Academy of Alexandria, and the “Catalogue of Prices”, Alba Ferrara, to give a fair assessment of his work. Since that time Massimo Cedrini has had numerous solo exhibitions in various Italian cities and abroad with Spain, France / Monte Carlo, Germany, Brazil, USA, Canada, showcasing his artworks.
